rpmRobert Muller is a pianist originally from Portland, Oregon, where he apprenticed with Blue Note jazz great Andrew Hill in the early ’90s. His music background includes touring with a Shriner’s Circus band, backing Iranian pop stars in Vancouver BC, gigs in New York City’s scene at venues like the the Blue Note and the  Knitting Factory, studio work and gigs with grammy-winning guitarist Larry Mitchell, performances around the US with poet/singer/author/musician Joy Harjo, studio work and gigs with NAMMY award winning Native American artist Shelley Morningsong, and appearances on MTV2 with underground hip hop artist Pete Miser. In 2016, Robert was the musical director for a tribute to acclaimed bassist Nathan East as part of the Albuquerque Film and Music Experience, and in 2017 is looking forward sharing a currently-secret project involving a composition and performance collaboration with Olympic gold medalists.
